The Yeti ARC frame has been around for years, largely unchanged. It is just that good. Why mess with something that is nearly perfect.

In the photos above you will notice the shape of the downtube, which doesn't show up in a lot of photos. Most hardtails I've owned have standard round tubing, but the Yeti's have a nice shape to them, which I'm sure helps strengthen the frame.
THE BOTTOM LINE..
I've owned several high end frames over the years... an Ibis Mojo, an IF hardtail, a Specialized S-Works M4... and the ARC frame is right up there with the best of them. The welds are really nice, the attention to detail is just what you'd expect from a company like Yeti, and at around 3.4 lbs for a size Medium, it is a great starting point for your next race bike. I think this is about the best cross country hardtail frame you can buy, hands down.
