THE GOAL...
My Ibis Mojo frame had been sitting in the basement collecting dust for about the last year, so I decided it was about time to get her back out on the trail. In its prior life, the bike had been my main cross country race bike, but this time it would have a new role. The goal would be to build a durable trail bike that I'd use mostly for training and "fun" rides. Weight wouldn't really be a concern since I will probably never race the bike now that I have the Yeti ARC.

BUILT AND READY TO RIDE...
Finally got the Mojo built up with all the new parts. I'm really loving the Rock Shox SID team fork so far... very stiff and super light. The bike weighed in at about 26.28 lbs, which was about 1.5 lbs lighter than before.

NEW SUSPENSION FORK AND WHEELSET...
My new fork and wheelset have arrived. Here's what I went with...
Fork: I have a Fox F100 Fork on my Yeti ARC, and love it, but for this bike I wanted to try something different. I'd heard great things about the Rock Shox SID Team fork
and thats what I went with. The first thing I did when I got it was put it on the scale where I was pleased to see it weighed in at 3.3 lbs, and thats before I've even cut the steerer tube. One other cool thing is that the fork comes with a bunch of extra decals in random colors, one of which was an orange that matches my Mojo frame color almost perfectly. Shweet!
Wheelset: My choice of wheelset for this bike might seem a bit strange at first. I wanted something really durable, and relatively lightweight, although that was not a huge concern. I plan on building an all-mountain bike at some point, so I started looking into all mountain wheelsets that can be converted back and forth between 9mm quick release and 20mm thru axle. What I ended up with is an Easton AM Havoc wheelset from JensonUSA.com. The reviews were very good for this wheelset, with most riders saying it was lightweight and durable, which is exactly what I was looking for. It also converts from 9mm to 20mm through axle with no tools. The wheelset is also pretty lightweight, weighing in at 910g for the front and 1070g for the rear.
Stay tuned for more updates...
